More Than Bricks: A Collective Reflection
Artwork by Collaboration of workshops
This project serves as a community-driven visual and written diary — a nostalgic yet forward-looking piece that captures the spirit, stories, and values of both the present moment and days gone by. It reflects what reminds people about their community and what designs they would see on a graffiti wall.
Throughout a series of creative sessions, we invited individuals of all ages to take part in our arts and crafts workshops. Participants were encouraged to contribute to our evolving "graffiti wall" — a vibrant tapestry of personal expression through images, drawings, and written reflections. Each contribution offered a glimpse into what residents felt was significant about the area they call home. From childhood memories and cherished landmarks to hopes for the future, the wall became a living mosaic of community identity — shaped by many hands, voices, and hearts.
